MacKenzie Art Gallery's Celebration of National Aboriginal Day
Sunday, June 21, 2009
2:00pm - 4:00pm

Join the MacKenzie Art Gallery community in celebrating National Aboriginal Day! There will be guided tours of the permanent collection exhibition, Dana Claxton’s Buffalo Bone China, followed by facilitator led art activities exploring the art of our Saskatchewan Aboriginal artists. All are welcome and admission is free!

The first day of summer has been chosen as National Aboriginal Day. It is an opportunity for everyone to celebrate the important cultural richness and contributions of Inuit, Métis and First Nations peopl
es. Activities for National Aboriginal Day are organized across Canada every year. For more information about the day's events and activities, visit the Indian and Northern Affairs Canada website at www.inac.gc.ca.
