Sunday, June 21, 2009 2:00pm - 4:00pm

The first day of summer has been chosen as National Aboriginal Day. It is an opportunity for everyone to celebrate the important cultural richness and contributions of Inuit, Métis and First Nations peoples. Activities for National Aboriginal Day are organized across Canada every year. For more information about the day's events and activities, visit the Indian and Northern Affairs Canada website at www.inac.gc.ca. To find out more about the National Aboriginal Day festivities taking place in Wascana Park, you can email the Regina National Aboriginal Day Committee at regina.nad@accesscomm.ca or call Orenda Yuzicapi at (306) 546-4006.
